The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on Tuesday, December 2, between 17:00 PM and 20:00 PM Moscow time, air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed six Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

According to the agency, all targets were destroyed as they approached the peninsula. Residents of the peninsula heard distinctive loud bangs and a series of explosions in the sky—these were the air defense systems in action.

There are no official reports of any ground consequences, debris fall, or casualties. This is the second massive drone attack attempt on Crimea in 24 hours: the previous wave of six drones was repelled during the night.
