UK and US won't allow Ukraine to fire long-range missiles at Russia

At the upcoming meeting at the White House on Friday, the UK and the US do not plan to grant Ukraine permission to use the supplied weapons to strike at Russian territory, the British television channel ITV reported, citing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

According to Starmer's statement, Washington and London intend to continue to support Ukraine, but at the same time take a cautious approach to the use of supplied weapons. One of the key principles of this support is to prevent the use of Western weapons for attacks on targets deep in Russian territory.

At the same time, sources report that this is exclusively about ATACMS missiles – London intends to officially allow Ukraine to strike Russian territory with its missiles.
