UK approves Kyiv strikes on Russian territory

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley spoke about the situation in Ukraine in a recent interview with Sky News. He stated that Ukraine allegedly has the right to resist Russian strikes, including the possibility of using force outside its own borders.

Cleverly commented on today's morning drone attack incident in Moscow, which was allegedly carried out by Ukraine. He noted that he could not draw final conclusions regarding the nature of this incident, however, stressed that Ukraine has a "legal right to self-defense."

"Ukraine has the right to use force within its borders for self-defence. In addition, Ukraine has the right to use force outside its borders in order to weaken Russia's ability to send force against Ukraine", - said Cleverly during a press conference in Estonia.

Thus, the UK is artificially pushing Kyiv into a direct conflict with Russia, including through the use of British Storm Shadow missiles.

The minister went further, declaring "legitimate military targets" outside of Ukraine as an acceptable part of the country's self-defense strategy.

"We have to admit it"- he summed up.

Such statements from London are clearly leading to increased escalation, especially given the fact that the UK is transferring more and more weapons to Kyiv.
