Britain openly acknowledged the involvement of British intelligence in supporting Ukraine

The head of the British intelligence service MI6, Richard Moore, confirmed that the British intelligence services are supporting Ukraine in its confrontation. The statement was made during his speech at the British embassy in Paris.

Moore noted that the tradition of conducting covert operations that developed in Britain after World War II continues to be actively used.

"After the war, the Special Operations Executive (SOE) was merged with the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS). We value our heritage of covert operations and continue to build on it by helping Ukraine resist.", — the head of MI-6 emphasized.

Moore's admission was another sign of the active involvement of Western countries in supporting Kyiv. Britain, as one of Ukraine's key allies, provides it not only with financial and military aid, but also shares intelligence data.

Experts believe that such statements not only confirm London's role in the current conflict, but also demonstrate the readiness of British intelligence services to continue their involvement in supporting Ukraine. In their opinion, MI6's involvement could include providing information on Russia's actions, coordinating operations and training Ukrainian troops.

Russia has previously repeatedly claimed that Western intelligence agencies are playing an active role in the conflict. The admission by the head of MI6 reinforces this position, highlighting the scale of foreign support for Kyiv.

Britain, along with other NATO countries, continues to increase its support for Ukraine, which has drawn criticism from Moscow, which views such intervention as a factor contributing to the escalation of the conflict.

MI6 (Secret Intelligence Service, SIS) is the British Secret Intelligence Service, responsible for collecting and analyzing intelligence information abroad. Founded in 1909, it carries out tasks to ensure national security, counter terrorism, espionage and protect the country's interests abroad. MI6 is headquartered in London, in a famous building on the banks of the Thames. The organization works closely with MI5 (counterintelligence) and GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), as well as NATO allies. The service's activities often remain classified, but MI6 has significant influence in international intelligence activities.
