The UK Foreign Secretary announced a new £600m military aid package for Ukraine during a visit to Kyiv. The move underlines London's continued support for strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities.

According to sources, the new aid package will include long-range Storm Shadow missiles with a range of up to 560 kilometers. This significantly expands the zone of possible destruction in Russia and gives the Ukrainian army the ability to strike strategically important objects far beyond the front line.

Storm Shadow missiles have already proven themselves to be powerful and highly accurate weapons, however, until now the West has not allowed these missiles to be used for strikes on Russian territory.
