14 October it became known that the business and tourist flights to Finland will become daily for residents of St. Petersburg.
Since 2014, RussAir has opened a helicopter route between St. Petersburg and Helsinki. First it will be a charter flight, and then, depending on the number of passengers, flights can become regular.
The flight will be delivered 4 or 5 helicopters Eurocopter. On the way it will be about two hours, since the distance between the cities is 300 km. The cost of one-way flight will be 25-300 euro.
But experts are not sure about the success of the business model, since a large number of modes of transport run between cities - regular flights, buses, trains. Therefore, it will be difficult to compete with expensive helicopters.
