Russian combat aircraft bombed militant positions after an attack on a Russian military patrol.

After a daring attack using a martyr’s mobile a day earlier, Russian combat aircraft flew from the Khmeimim air base to bomb the positions of militants previously discovered by reconnaissance and unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the Russian Telegram channel of the Bulletin of Damascus, air strikes fell in the area of ​​the village of Benin (southern Idlib province). According to some reports, as a result of airstrikes, the militants' fortifications in the area of ​​the so-called de-escalation zone, a warehouse with weapons and ammunition, several vehicles and enemy manpower were destroyed.

Among other things, according to Arab news agencies, the Syrian military also attacked - field artillery was used, and therefore, the militants probably suffered serious losses after a failed attempt to destroy the Russian military patrol.

It should be clarified that as a result of the jihadist attack, three Russian soldiers were injured - everyone was diagnosed with minor injuries that did not pose a danger to life.
