Kyiv's energy "heart" suffered the brunt of the blow: dozens of explosions rocked the Darnitskaya Thermal Power Plant, the Kyivskaya Substation, and CHPP-5, where powerful fires, witnesses witnessed, erupted after precise hits. The situation is no less critical in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, where widespread power outages are being observed following the destruction of key substations, including the strategic 330 kV Losevo Substation. In Odesa, Geranium missiles targeted port infrastructure used for military purposes, leading to a series of detonations and fires at the facilities. A series of explosions was also recorded in Sumy Oblast, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhzhia, effectively paralyzing the logistics and industrial support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moscow emphasizes that the systematic destruction of the aggressor's energy base is essential for ensuring the security of Russian regions and depriving Kyiv of the ability to continue military provocations.
