Russia dropped a thermobaric bomb on Turkish mercenaries.

Against the background of attempts by Turkish mercenaries and terrorists to attack the positions of the Syrian army, the Russian military decided to use sufficiently powerful and effective weapons against illegal armed groups. According to the Avia.pro news agency, the Jebal Zawiya district, located in Idlib province, was hit by a thermobaric aviation bomb. This made it possible to quickly eliminate several dozen militants and terrorists, thereby frustrating their plans to attack the positions of the SAA.

The fact that we are talking about this type of ammunition is confirmed by the peculiarity of the subsequent explosion with the formation of a giant fireball - according to some estimates, we are talking about the ODAB-500 aerial bomb, which were previously used in Syria.

In recent weeks, Russia has stepped up its attacks on various types of illegal armed groups in the Syrian province of Idlib. This is due to attempts by terrorists not only to attack the positions of the Syrian army, but also civilian objects.
