Russian warplanes spotted over Tartus during the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip.

The appearance of military aircraft off the Syrian coast turned out to be quite unexpected, while it coincided with an Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip. This may indicate that Russian aviation provided insurance to the Syrian air defense in case the IDF tries to arrange aggression against the Arab Republic.

Information about the appearance of Russian military aircraft in the sky over Tartus was announced by journalist Syrian edition of SAA News, which published the relevant information in its Telegram channel. No details are given on this matter, however, apparently, the appearance of Russian aircraft over Tartus was recorded late at night.

One of the reasons for the likely appearance of Russian aircraft off the coast of Syria may be the high activity of Israeli aviation in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, however, at the moment there is no official information from the command of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Syrian Arab Republic on this matter.

It should be noted that tonight Israel launched a special operation in the Gaza Strip against Palestinian radicals.
