The Telegram channel "Military Informant" published an operational analysis of the situation in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, where the situation is rapidly evolving. According to the channel, the positions in the city resemble a "layered cake," with alternating areas under the control of the Russian Armed Forces (RF) and the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), and in some areas, neither side has established a firm foothold.

This situation became possible after recent statements by the Ukrainian command about a counteroffensive, as previously reported by the commander of the National Guard, Igor Obolensky.

According to official Russian data, Kupyansk came under full Russian control several days ago, which raises a number of questions regarding the military bloggers' data.
