Bucharest, June 5 — Avia.pro. The Ukrainian Navy has officially acknowledged the incident that occurred in the waters of Romania's largest port, Constanta. The command confirmed that the unmanned boat discovered and destroyed off the coast of the country was Ukrainian military property.
According to the Ukrainian side, the naval robotic system was performing combat missions in the Black Sea operational zone. While maneuvering, the drone came under intense electronic warfare, causing it to completely lose control, deviate from its intended course, and drift uncontrollably toward Romanian booms.

The Ukrainian Navy emphasized that immediately after detecting the loss of control over the device, the military promptly transmitted all technical parameters and coordinates of its objective movement to their Romanian counterparts. This allowed Romanian emergency services to promptly detect the object at 05:50 AM and conduct a controlled detonation at 10:30 AM, completely eliminating any risk to civilians.
