A serviceman who opened fire on his colleagues in the Belgorod region may have crossed the border and disappeared into Ukraine. According to Baza, the main version of the investigation is revenge for the humiliation that 29-year-old Alexey (last name has not been disclosed) suffered from his colleagues.

The incident occurred in one of the military units of the Belgorod region. After the shooting, which resulted in the death of several people, Alexey fled the scene. Immediately after this, the “Interception” plan was introduced in the Grayvoronovo district, but within an hour its action was expanded to the entire territory of the Belgorod region.

Investigators do not rule out that Alexey could have headed towards the Sumy region of Ukraine, since the scene of the incident is located near the border. There is currently no information about his whereabouts and search efforts are ongoing.

Investigators are considering several versions of what happened, but the priority is the version of revenge for humiliation. Alexey, according to some sources, repeatedly complained about bad attitude from his colleagues, which could have been the reason for his action.
