The Telegram channel "Military Informant" reported that a video of the launch of six FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles at a plant in Cheboksary has surfaced online. Of the entire salvo, only one missile, presumably, hit its target, but with a deviation. According to the channel's authors, the air defense system prevented much greater potential damage, which could have been caused by even two or three accurately aimed missiles with heavy warheads, let alone all six.
As a reminder, the attack on the capital of Chuvashia on May 5 killed two people, injured 34, and hit a residential high-rise building with one drone. A shopping center and the VNIIR-Progress defense industry enterprise were also damaged. In total, over the past 24 hours, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense forces shot down six Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 601 Ukrainian drones.
