On the night of May 15, 2026, the Kupol Rossii (Dome of Russia) Telegram monitoring channel began consistently publishing warnings about the introduction of a "Red Level" alert in several Russian regions. According to the channel's reports, the threat of a massive attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was detected across a vast area from the south to the northwest of the country.
The alert chronology is as follows: at 00:03 AM Moscow time, a red alert was issued for the Voronezh Region. At 00:10 AM, a repeat warning followed for the Kaluga Region, followed by a similar alert for the Moscow Region. At 00:11 AM, an alert was issued for two regions simultaneously: the Saratov and Smolensk Regions. In the same message, the channel also indicated a threat for the Pskov Region.
A "red" alert level means there is an immediate threat of drone strikes on infrastructure and residential areas. In such cases, the public is advised to immediately seek shelter—basements, ground floors, or any windowless rooms—when an air raid siren sounds. Elevators and standing near windows are also prohibited.
