On the night of August 31, 2025, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive attack on military and infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using Kh-101 cruise missiles and more than a hundred Geran-2 and Gerbera drones. The main blow fell on Odessa and the Odessa region, where ports, a ship repair plant, warehouses and military facilities came under fire. In Ilyichevsk (Chernomorsk), part of the district was left without power supply after the attack.

Explosions also occurred in Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where a rocket fuel plant was attacked, and in the outskirts of Dnipropetrovsk, where Russian forces had earlier struck the Yuzhmash enterprise. According to sources, military equipment at ten Ukrainian airfields was damaged in the latest attacks. Geran-2 drones were spotted in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, where they struck military targets.

On the front line, Russian troops continue their offensive: units of the Russian Armed Forces have occupied the village of Andreyevka in the Kharkiv region and are fighting for control over Olgovka. Monitoring channels also report the advance of Russian forces in the Druzhelyubovka area.
