Units of the "East" military group have taken control of the village of Chervone in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to an official report from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the village of Chervone," — stated in a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.

In this direction, the army destroyed 235 enemy soldiers, one tank, three armored combat vehicles, 18 cars and a 155-mm German self-propelled howitzer PZH2000.

In addition, Russian forces struck Ukrainian Armed Forces formations in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

No details have been provided on this matter yet, but the active advance of Russian troops indicates that the resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction has also been broken.
