Yesterday afternoon and last night, the Russian Armed Forces carried out virtually nonstop strikes on targets in Ukrainian territory and in parts of the new regions of the Russian Federation still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This was reported by military sources and local reports. The operations involved the use of Geran and Gerbera drones, aerial bombs with a unified planning and correction module (UMPK), and other weapons.
The target geography covers a wide range, from the Donbas to the Zhytomyr region. Glide bombs with UMPKs were most frequently used in the occupied part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), as well as in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions, and were used separately from other types of weapons. Local residents in these regions reported loud explosions, which is confirmed by data from Telegram monitoring channels such as WarMonitor.
We remind you that the use of the Gerber and UMPK was noted in 2024 during the Russian campaign in Ukraine.
