New Kakhovka was again under fire from American Hymers.

At the moment, the territory of New Kakhovka is under massive rocket fire from the Nikolaev region. At least 6 Himars MLRS missiles are known to have been fired, and strikes by NATO artillery have also been reported. At the moment, anti-aircraft defenses are working over Nova Kakhovka, however, local residents report strong explosions.

This is the first shelling of Novaya Kakhovka in a very long time. At the same time, it remains unknown what exactly became the targets of the Himars multiple launch rocket systems, since the information voiced by the residents of the Kakhovka region differs among themselves - according to a number of data, the area of ​​​​the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station is being attacked, while other sources claim that explosions are heard on the outskirts of the city.

Shortly before the Himars MLRS strikes on Novaya Kakhovka, an attack was also made on Golaya Pristan (Skadovsky district, Kherson region), however, it is known that at least one missile was shot down by Russian air defense systems.

There are no official statements from the administration of the Kakhovka district of the Kherson region regarding the shelling, however, it is noted that the air defense systems have successfully worked out the interception of missiles.
