The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an oil depot in Lugansk, an alleged accomplice of Kyiv was detained

On the night of December 3-4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out an attack on an oil depot in Lugansk, as a result of which one of the tanks caught fire. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Mash in Donbass”.

While extinguishing the fire, rescuers faced additional difficulties as they had to take cover from Ukrainian kamikaze drones that were circling over the site. Firefighters were forced to retreat to a safe distance while air defense systems shot down the drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after which they resumed extinguishing the fire. According to the latest data, the fire was localized.

Separately, it is reported that in November, Ukrainian drones also tried to attack an oil depot in Crimean Feodosia, but the drones were shot down by small arms fire.

In addition, it became known that a Ukrainian citizen was detained in the Lugansk People's Republic, suspected of collecting data on the locations of Russian military and equipment - it is possible that he may also be involved in the attack on the oil depot. Earlier, a member of the State Duma Committee on Defense, Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev, announced the revival of the SMERSH counterintelligence service in new territories included in Russia.
