Ukrainian Armed Forces Attack Four Russian Regions at Night: First Details

Last night, Ukrainian drones attacked four Russian regions at once: Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, Volgograd and Belgorod Oblasts. Dozens of residential buildings and industrial infrastructure were damaged as a result of the attack. The Russian Defense Ministry reported the interception of 36 Ukrainian drones.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries. Emergency and recovery services are working on the ground.

A series of explosions in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Krasnodar Krai, occurred at about 2:40 a.m. Ukrainian UAVs attacked residential buildings, causing damage to five apartment buildings. Falling debris broke windows and damaged roofs. Power was temporarily cut off on some streets. Power engineers are working to restore power supply.

The attack on Rostov-on-Don began at about 2:15 a.m. The blast wave blew out windows in 14 apartment buildings on Vilnyusskaya, 1st Horse Army, and Vera Panova Streets. A gas pipe was damaged in one of the buildings, requiring urgent intervention by gas services. Repairs will be made soon.

Buses for heating were provided for the evacuated residents. A temporary accommodation and food center was opened at the V. P. Polyanichko Lyceum No. 20. Residents received the necessary assistance and temporary shelter.

Another attack occurred at an oil pumping station in the suburb of Chertkovo in the Rostov region. The administrative and utility buildings of the enterprise were damaged. Six workers were evacuated. The emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and began eliminating the consequences.

In the Volgograd region, drones attacked an oil refinery in the Kumylzhensky district. Fortunately, there was no fire, and no damage to residential buildings was recorded.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 36 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight: 18 over the territory of the Rostov Region, 11 in the Volgograd Region, five in the Belgorod Region, and two in the Krasnodar Region.

Attacks by Ukrainian drones have become more frequent in recent months. According to experts, this is due to Kyiv’s attempts to damage Russia’s critical infrastructure and create panic among the civilian population. Air defense forces continue to be on duty, ensuring the protection of airspace and the timely interception of drones.
