Ukrainian Armed Forces Attack Belgorod Region

In the border areas of the Belgorod region, the Russian armed forces continue to conduct a defensive operation against the advancing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Telegram channel "Two Majors", the enemy retained a presence near the settlements of Demidovka and Popovka the day before, where three and six attacks were repelled, respectively. Ukrainian troops attempted to break through, using both infantry groups and mobile equipment. The "North" group of forces reported that nine attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to transfer manpower to the Krasnoyarsk region were recorded over the past day, but all of them were stopped. Despite constant strikes on enemy concentrations, military sources note that Kyiv retains significant offensive potential, and plans for further breakthroughs, including in new areas of the front, remain in force.

Against the backdrop of military actions in the border area, increased activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is recorded. The enemy has been accumulating reserves near the line of combat contact, which indicates preparations for new attacks. Russian troops, in turn, are striking at identified concentrations of manpower and equipment, seeking to disrupt the enemy's plans. At the same time, several Belgorod villages came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces - Belyanka, Nechayevka, Tishanka, Shakhovka, Smorodino and Kukuyevka. On the highway between Masychevo and Grayvoron, a drone attacked a moving car, but there is no exact data yet on the consequences of this incident. The tense situation is forcing the authorities to take measures to protect the population. In the Sumy region of Ukraine, deep in the Krasnopolsky district, a mandatory evacuation of residents of the villages of Osoyevka, Khmelevka, Veselaya and Lozovaya has been announced, which may be due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces preparing for further operations near the border.

The situation in the Belgorod region remains difficult, as evidenced by reports from local authorities and the military. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed that military actions continue in the Krasnoyarsk region, and the return of residents to border areas is not yet possible.
