The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to launch an offensive from the territory of the Kharkiv region in mid-December.

Against the background of a large number of Ukrainian troops being transferred to the Kharkiv region, there is some confidence that Ukrainian troops are planning to organize another major offensive here. Taking into account the expected meteorological conditions, experts call the most probable period of time for an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the period from December 10 to 25, i.e., less than two weeks later.

In all likelihood, the Ukrainian troops intend, first of all, to gain control over the entire territory of the Kharkiv region with access to the border with the Belgorod region. In the future, this will allow Ukrainian troops to advance in the direction of the Svatovo-Kremennaya line, which, given the current number of Ukrainian forces in this region, creates a real threat of a breakthrough.

However, of particular concern is the recent statement by Russian expert Boris Rozhin that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could launch an attack on the Belgorod region, since the Kharkiv region, where significant forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are deployed, borders on the Belgorod region.
