The Ukrainian Armed Forces have changed their night strike tactics, using FP-2 drones to adjust attacks and identify air defenses.

Ukrainian forces have adopted a new strategy of night operations, combining mass deployments of conventional drones with reconnaissance and strike UAVs controlled by operators in real time. According to Ukrainian Telegram channels, recent attacks on Russian targets have involved Lyuty and FP-1 drones for strikes and distractions, while FP-2s are used to adjust strikes and locate air defense points.

The FP-2, developed by Fire Point, is equipped with optoelectronic guidance systems and a warhead weighing up to 105 kg, enabling it to engage hardened targets at ranges of several hundred kilometers. FP-2 drone operators effectively monitor ongoing attacks, identify targets, and adjust their attacks.
