The Ukrainian military is mining Western weapons, counting on their capture as trophies.

Ukrainian servicemen have noticed a new tactic of using Western weapons. As it became known, Ukrainian servicemen use tubes from Javelin anti-tank missile systems, MANPADS and Western-made grenade launchers, placing explosive charges in them. The latter detonates when trying to capture such weapons as a trophy, which is a serious danger.

It is known that such tricks for the Ukrainian military were noticed for the first time, although previously the tactics of mining unmanned aerial vehicles and military equipment were actively used, which also detonated when trying to capture them.

Experts strongly advise against touching weapons left by Ukrainian servicemen without extreme necessity, at least until the weapons are checked by specialists, since this can lead to extremely serious consequences, including for entire units of servicemen.
