The Ukrainian armed forces may attempt a new massive drone attack on Russian weapons and ammunition depots within the next 24 hours, experts warn, noting a trend in regular drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces – such strikes occur approximately once a week, which corresponds to the time needed to prepare and launch unmanned aerial vehicles.
Of particular note is the recent attack on the arsenals in the Volgograd region, which took place last weekend. Although Russian air defense forces successfully intercepted the strike, one of the drones or its fragments fell in the immediate vicinity of the arsenal. Fortunately, serious consequences were avoided, but the incident demonstrated the high level of threat posed by Ukrainian drones.
Experts note that the current strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be aimed at disabling critical infrastructure and arsenals that play a key role in supplying Russian troops. In recent months, cases of using drones for such attacks have become more frequent, which, according to analysts, is due to the development of Ukrainian drone technology and the successful integration of Western aid.
