Military observer Yuriy Podolyaka reports on the start of large-scale offensive operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of June 8 in several sectors of the front.

It should be noted that the main forces of the 10th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the night attacked positions south of Malaya Tokmachka in several waves. Before the offensive, a massive shelling of the positions of the defenders from the American HIMARS MLRS was carried out.

"They marched in large forces and constantly swept them away. Some were blown up by mines, some were mowed down by our artillery ... The rest were finished off by army aviation", - the report says.

Podolyaka especially notes the efficiency of the army aviation, which made five raids on the attacking columns in two hours. The specific losses of the enemy are still unknown, but the observer emphasizes that they are undoubtedly significant and, nevertheless, the offensive has not yet brought results.

"It is obvious that the enemy put everything into this night attack, including yesterday's losses, which were also laid on the altar of victory. But they did not achieve victory. The Russian soldiers did not run, but the" Germans ", as they have long called soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front, marking time", - states Podolyaka.

According to the latest data, Ukrainian troops are regrouping and preparing for the morning assault with fresh forces.
