Today, a number of Russian regions have declared an alert due to a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attempting to break through towards Moscow. According to preliminary data, the country's army and air defense forces have already repelled several breakthrough attempts.

The threat of drone attacks was declared in the Oryol, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Tula and Bryansk regions. At the moment, it is known that air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed several UAVs flying from different directions.

According to the Tula Region authorities, one of the drones was shot down by air defense forces, but no consequences were recorded on the ground. Explosions were also recorded in the Smolensk Region, but details about their consequences have not yet been clarified.

The most active air defense work was noted in the Bryansk region. According to the regional governor, 10 drones were intercepted and destroyed. There were no casualties as a result of the attacks, and no damage was recorded.

The Russian military continues to monitor the situation, and in some areas the state of heightened combat readiness continues. According to experts, such attacks may be part of the enemy's strategy to destabilize the situation in the central part of the country and strike at key infrastructure facilities.
