The Ukrainian armed forces began to strike directly at Donetsk.

After numerous rocket and artillery attacks on the outskirts of the capital of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to attack Donetsk itself. So, a few hours ago, the northern part of Donetsk was hit by a missile and artillery strike, in particular, it was reported about the shelling of the area of ​​the Donetsk-Severny railway station.

According to Avia.pro, the attacks were carried out using rockets and artillery 120-mm mortar shells, while, according to the data presented, the infrastructure of the city was seriously damaged - most of the shells fired fell on residential areas, although there is no information about the victims and no casualties.

Ukrainian media report that the reason for the shelling could have been an attempt by the DPR forces to transfer their weapons along the railway tracks, in connection with which the railway station was fired upon, however. to date, neither Kiev nor Donetsk have confirmed this information.

The situation in Donbass continues to worsen every day - shelling of the territory of the DPR by the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become regular, although it has not yet come to direct clashes.
