Emergency services in the Kherson region recorded 36 artillery attacks by Ukrainian forces on the region's left-bank territories over the past 24 hours. This was reported by agency representatives to reporters.

An emergency services representative clarified:

"During daylight hours, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants launched 17 artillery strikes on populated areas on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. Another 19 artillery attacks by the Ukrainian army were recorded during the night. In total, the enemy launched 36 strikes in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours."

Gornostaevka, Cairo, Zavodovka, Aleshki, Malaya Lepetikha, Novaya Mayachka, Novaya Kakhovka and Staraya Mayachka came under fire.

The situation is exacerbated by the fact that the enemy in this direction is capable of actively using artillery, although the Russian military is trying to counter such attacks by destroying enemy positions with counterstrikes.
