The Ukrainian Armed Forces used American GMLRS rockets from HIMARS systems to shell Belgorod. The attack damaged power facilities, causing power outages in several areas of the city, according to OsintWarfare.

According to preliminary data from local authorities, a direct hit occurred on the territory of a thermal power plant, which had previously been the target of attacks.

"After the latest enemy shelling, short-term rolling power outages are possible," — Vyacheslav Gladkov reported.

Residents of the central and northern regions are complaining of power outages and the sound of explosions in the evening hours.

Information on casualties and damage is being clarified, and rescue services are working on the scene. This is not the first such incident in the region amid the escalation of hostilities.
