Strike OTRK Point

Ukrainian Armed Forces inflicted three simultaneous missile strikes of the Tochka-U OTRK

The Ukrainian military launched missile strikes with Tochka-U tactical complexes.

Ukraine has switched to the mass use of Tochka-U OTRK. This is evidenced by video footage showing the simultaneous launch of three tactical missiles at an unknown target. One of the reasons for this is the limited number of these missile systems in service with Ukraine - according to a number of data, Ukraine still has about 50 60M400 tactical missiles for 9-79 launchers.

On the video footage presented, you can see how the Ukrainian military produces a simultaneous strike with three Tochka-U tactical missiles at once. Judging by the launch trajectory, the strike was delivered in one area, which greatly hampered the process of intercepting such missiles, which, most likely, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were counting on.

It is not known when and where exactly such video frames were filmed, and therefore it is not possible to establish for certain exactly what goals the Ukrainian military were working for. Nevertheless, according to official data, tactical missiles 9M79 OTRK "Tochka-U" are regularly intercepted by air defense systems of the RF Armed Forces, as well as units of the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, although there are also cases when interceptions were not always effective.
