The Armed Forces of Ukraine again fired on the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk.

Ukrainian troops fired eight shells of "NATO" caliber of 155 millimeters into the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk. According to the representative office of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC), the shelling was recorded by the armed formations of Ukraine (VFU).

The incident occurred at 04:00 local time (coincides with Moscow time). According to preliminary data, the fire was fired from the direction of the settlement of Netaylovo, located just a few kilometers from Donetsk. According to the DPR representative office, as a result of the shelling, eight shells with a caliber of 155 millimeters were fired.

The 155 mm caliber refers to the calibers of artillery guns that are used in modern conflicts. A gun with this caliber is considered universal and can perform various tasks, including striking enemy manpower, destroying buildings and other structures, and destroying armored vehicles. The conflict in Donbass is one example of the use of such weapons in hostilities.
