In Ukraine, they denied information about the use of ATGM "Javelin" in the Donbass.

The Ukrainian military said that anti-tank missile systems (ATGM) "Javelin", supplied by the United States to Ukraine as part of a military assistance package, have not yet been used in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation in Donbass. In turn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that the ATGM "Javelin" were used during exercises at the Shirokiy Lan training ground.

In fact, the information previously published by Ukrainian sources of information that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used these complexes against the defenders of the DPR and LPR are unreliable.

On the other hand, Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, confirmed in an interview with the Military Times the first successful use of these American missile systems in the Donbas.  Now this raises a number of questions as to which of the provided information is reliable.

It should be noted that earlier, Ukrainian resources circulated a recording on which the alleged destruction of two LPR tanks on the line of contact is taking place, however, Web users were able to establish that the video was filmed back in 2016.
