The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to retreat from the Avdiivka direction after the start of an intensive offensive by Russian troops.

At the moment, the situation for the Ukrainian units in the Avdiivka area is developing in a critical way, since the Russian units are actually located at the very borders of this settlement and the assault on it can begin today.

On the video footage, you can see how large-scale strikes by Russian attack aircraft were carried out the day before on the outskirts of Avdiivka, from where, as it became known to Avia.pro journalists, units of Ukrainian troops subsequently began to withdraw, although by the current hour, Ukrainian units retain some presence here, probably allowing the rest troops to regroup.

The Avdiivka direction is one of the highest priorities, as it makes it possible to move the front line to the west and reduce the number of attacks on Donetsk, although it will not completely eliminate them.
