Russian troops continue to expand the territory of their control in the city of Chasov Yar, which the enemy views as a key hub of its defense. The loss of Chasov Yar could allow Russian forces to advance simultaneously in two directions - towards Konstantinovka and towards the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

The Ukrainian side recognized the loss of another section of the territory of Chasov Yar in the Kanal microdistrict, which is separated from the rest of the city by the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The enemy tried to hold this microdistrict, but the efforts were unsuccessful.

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, aimed at driving Russian troops out of the city, were destroyed in the area of ​​the garage cooperative, repair plant and vocational school 77. As a result, the Ukrainian forces also lost the territory from which they began their advance.

Several sabotage groups, including foreign mercenaries, were destroyed on the territory of the reinforced concrete plant, also located in the Kanal microdistrict. Russian troops continue to effectively neutralize such groups, preventing them from gaining a foothold and carrying out their missions.
