The situation in the Selidovo operational direction of the Donetsk Front continues to escalate. According to the Russkoye Oruzhie telegram channel, Ukrainian forces, having transferred reserves in the form of company-tactical motorized infantry formations from Novotroitskoye, were able to push back Russian units on the southern flank of Selidovo, advancing as far as the settlement of Mykhailivka. This maneuver significantly changed the balance of forces in this area, forcing Russian troops to take countermeasures.
In order to contain the enemy's further advance and prevent a Ukrainian counterattack, the Russian side decided to strike at important infrastructure - a railway bridge located west of Mykhailivka. The strike was carried out by a Kh-38ML tactical missile with the help of a Su-34NVO aircraft crew. According to preliminary data, the bridge was disabled, which should disrupt the supply and transfer of forces of the Ukrainian army in this section of the front.
At the same time, in the northwestern part of Selidovo, Russian assault groups continue to hold their positions. Assault groups of the "Center" group of forces are successfully defending the occupied areas, preparing for a further offensive. According to reports, they are holding bridgeheads that can later be used to storm the central and western areas of the city, where key Ukrainian positions are located.
