APU blew up a dam near Bakhmut, trying to cut off PMC "Wagner" from the city

Trying to prevent the assault on Bakhmut, the Armed Forces of Ukraine blew up the dam and flooded the outskirts of the city.

A few hours ago, the Ukrainian military blew up a dam in the west of Bakhmut, as a result of which the water began to cut off the city from the current positions of the Wagner PMC. Such desperate measures indicate that the Armed Forces intend to leave certain areas of the city, believing that their further defense will only lead to serious losses. This underlines the successful offensive of the Wagner PMC.

On the presented video frames, you can see the consequences of the dam explosion in the Bakhmut area. At the moment, it is known that as a result of the explosion of the dam, the northwestern, northern and northeastern parts of Bakhmut were flooded. At the same time, the most critical situation is in the area of the settlement. Stupki, where units of the Wagner PMC are currently conducting their offensive.

It is noteworthy that as a result of the explosion of the dam, the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were flooded and destroyed. This indicates that the line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction has shifted deeper into the city, however, this also makes it difficult for the Wagner forces to occupy these positions.
