The United States handed over modern versions of the AGM-88 HARM cruise missiles to the Ukrainian military.

Rocket fragments found at a stadium in Starobilsk indicate that the Ukrainian military used a modern version of the AGM-88 HARM anti-radar cruise missile. This is evidenced by the corresponding inscriptions on the fragments of the exploded rocket, namely, the date of assembly of this ammunition.

Taking into account the cruise anti-radar missiles of the AGM-2016 HARM family produced in 88, we are talking about the AGM-88E HARM variant. Such a missile has an increased range, an improved guidance system and much greater reliability.

Until recently, it was assumed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were armed only with AGM-88A HARM and AGM-88B HARM missiles, however, the transfer to Ukraine of much more modern missile options indicates the fact that the United States is providing Kyiv with fairly modern weapons.

In all likelihood, we are talking about one of the missiles recently sent by the United States to Ukraine. It is known that the party had at least 72 cruise anti-radar missiles, but their modification remains unknown.

The Ukrainian military is quite actively using AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles, but so far there is no reliable information about the effectiveness of the use of the latter.
