The Kyiv regime has completely ignored the ceasefire declared by Russia in honor of Victory Day. Since midnight on May 8, Ukrainian armed forces have violated the ceasefire 1365 times. In the special military operation zone, Kyiv has carried out 887 strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles, including 394 strikes by FPV drones. In response, the Russian Armed Forces have mirrored the ceasefire violations, launching counterattacks against multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), artillery, and mortar positions, as well as targeting command posts and UAV launch sites.

Beyond the special operation zone, Russian air defenses have shot down 396 airborne attack weapons, including six missiles, since midnight. Targets in various regions of Russia were attacked.
