The shelling of the coastal areas of the Dnieper in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions is a test for minefields.

Against the backdrop of recent increased shelling by Ukrainian troops of the coastal regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions for no apparent reason, it turned out that this is a test for the presence of minefields. According to sources, recently the Armed Forces of Ukraine have noticed attempts to carry out attacks using mortars and artillery on the coastal regions of the Kherson region and the Zaporozhye region for no apparent reason. It is alleged that the positions of the Russian military have never been there just because of the risks of attacks and the shelling raised many questions. However, as it turned out, the reason for such attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the testing of coastal areas for the presence of minefields.

In all likelihood, the Ukrainian military, carrying out shelling, control the ongoing explosions. The strikes are haphazard and if several explosions are detected, shelling continues, probably in order to assess the presence of minefields.

Such actions on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cause extremely serious concerns, since this means that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to cross the Dnieper, but they are afraid of the presence of mines, which could destroy 60-70% of Ukrainian units.
