The APU was used for the first time to strike the M26 missile.

A few hours ago, the Ukrainian military launched strikes on the territory of the Kherson region using HIMARS MLRS, using M30 unguided munitions instead of M31 and M26 guided munitions. The latter, with a relatively short range, carry a cluster warhead, which led to extremely serious destruction - information about the victims and victims is still being specified.

According to the journalists of the WarGonzo project, the Ukrainian military carried out multiple strikes using such ammunition, which is allegedly no longer produced in the United States.

“We are talking about M26 unguided projectiles with cluster munitions. This is a barbaric weapon. It is worth saying that all modifications of this ammunition are discontinued in the United States of America. It is because of the disastrous consequences of their use. However, as it turned out, Ukraine received them.”, - report the journalists of "WarGonzo".

It is not known exactly which targets were hit, however, it should be noted that this may not be the HIMARS MLRS, but the M270 MLRS MLRS, which are capable of releasing two more such ammunition, which makes it possible to cover a large area.
