In the border zone of the Kursk region, in the area of ​​the village of Tyotkino and the village of Novy Put, the situation remains tense due to ongoing attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As reported by the Telegram channel "Arkhangel Spetsnaz" on May 13, 2025, Ukrainian formations have intensified offensive actions, attempting to break through the barrier line. Despite the successful repelling of the attacks, the AFU are transferring reserves, including mercenaries from private military companies (PMCs), and using sabotage groups on boats operating on the Seim River. According to sources, the enemy is preparing a bridgehead for a large-scale offensive, which is confirmed by increased aviation activity and the accumulation of forces in the Sumy region.

Russian troops, part of the "North" group, are effectively resisting attacks. Over the past 24 hours, several assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, supported by armored vehicles, have been destroyed in the Tyotkino area, and four Ukrainian servicemen have been captured. The enemy's main target remains key sections of the border, including Tyotkino and Novy Put, where infantry groups are trying to overcome fortifications. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using FPV drones and artillery to destroy bridges across the Seim, which complicates the supply of Russian forces. Sabotage groups on boats are shelling positions from the river, creating additional threats.
