The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received 18 new Bogdan artillery units, the production of which was financed by Denmark. This was reported by Danish Defense Minister Troels Poulsen, who emphasized that the production of these self-propelled guns took only two months.
Poulsen noted the importance of local production of weapons, emphasizing that the production of military equipment in Ukraine is significantly more cost-effective than the creation or purchase of similar equipment in the West. In addition, maintaining the functionality of this equipment is also cheaper.
"We are now calling on more European countries to finance the production of weapons directly on Ukrainian territory. This will not only reduce costs, but also speed up deliveries, which is extremely important in the context of the ongoing conflict," - the minister said.
