The US Air Force will establish a combat laser at aircraft fire support.

As it became known from the official statements of the US military command, a unique test of combat laser will be held in the year 2017, which is supposed to equip aircraft fire support. Using the laser system to be carried out defeat enemy technology, thus, it comes as a land-based facilities, and air services to, that can give the US Air Force major advantage in the conduct of hostilities.

Independent experts also very skeptical about the idea of ​​the US Air Force to use combat lasers, since in this case, because of the limited energy reserve, the number of shots will be very limited, and, consequently, the project itself will be ineffective.
