A powerful explosion occurred in Tobolsk. It has been preliminarily established that the cause was a burst of household gas, which literally tore the building apart. The force of the shock wave was so great that the windows of nearby multi-story buildings were broken, and residents of nearby buildings felt the shaking. According to the Telegram channel "Baza", as a result of the incident, a 40-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son, who were in the house at the time of the explosion, were injured. Both were taken to Regional Hospital No. 3, where they are receiving medical care.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations, firefighters and police immediately arrived at the scene. Rescuers quickly began to clear the rubble to rule out other victims, and firefighters extinguished the fire that broke out after the explosion. According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Oktyabrskaya Street from Radishchev Street to Roshchinsky Lane was closed to ensure safety and conduct emergency rescue operations. Residents were advised to use the detour through Znamenskogo and Doronina Streets. The mayor of the city, Pyotr Vagin, confirmed that the situation is under the control of the authorities, and specialists are clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
