Explosion in Grozny: Ukrainian kamikaze drones allegedly attacked Chechnya

Eyewitnesses in Grozny reported the sound of an explosion that thundered early in the morning, around five o'clock. According to preliminary information, the incident could have been caused by an attempt to attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle. Official bodies have not yet confirmed this version, but the details of the incident remain unknown.

According to data published by the Baza Telegram channel, the explosion occurred near the city, which caused temporary security measures. In particular, the Carpet plan was introduced at night at the Grozny airport - a standard procedure in case of a threat to air traffic safety. Because of this, one flight to Moscow was delayed.

Local residents described the sound of the explosion as a loud bang that was heard in several areas of the city. There are no reports of casualties or damage so far.

Grozny has been the target of drone attacks before. Experts attribute this to the general escalation of tensions in Russia's regions, especially in the southern and border areas.
