A large-scale attack by Russian kamikaze drones "Geran" has begun in Ukraine. According to local sources, explosions were recorded in Chornomorsk, Nikolaev region and other areas of the country located near the Black Sea coast. According to Ukrainian monitoring resources, new waves of drones continue to approach the borders of Ukraine - at least 16 drones are reported to be currently heading towards various targets in the country. Sources warn that the attack could be one of the largest in recent times.

The drone is used for pinpoint strikes on enemy fortifications, equipment, and manpower, creating difficulties for air defense systems due to its small size and low cost. Geran is effective for mass use, which makes it in demand in the conflict.
