Tehran, June 11 — Avia.pro. A large-scale air attack has been recorded on Iranian territory, with the Islamic Republic's air defense systems firing at targets in the capital and southern regions.

According to the Mehr news agency, defense systems have been activated in Fars Province, as well as in Tehran itself. Meanwhile, reports of powerful explosions are coming in near the strategically important Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.

The geography of the attacks continues to expand. Local sources report a series of explosions in the coastal towns of Sirik and Minab, located in the southern province of Hormozgan. Security forces and emergency services have been placed on a state of emergency, and details of the targets and damage are being clarified.
