On the evening of April 28, 2025, a fire broke out in the industrial zone of the village of Kirillovka, part of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory. As the head of the city Andrei Kravchenko reported on his Telegram channel, the fire occurred in a container with diesel fuel, after which the fire spread to nearby cars and containers. Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene and managed to completely extinguish the fire. 27 people participated in extinguishing the fire, there were no casualties. The cause of the fire has not yet been established and will be determined after the necessary examinations.

The incident occurred in the Kirillovka industrial zone, located near key industrial facilities in Novorossiysk, including oil refineries and logistics enterprises. According to preliminary data, the fire started at about 21:00 local time, and its source was a tank with diesel fuel. The fire quickly spread to nearby parked cars and metal containers, creating heavy smoke in the area.

Local residents, in turn, reported several explosions. And a few minutes before that, the Telegram channel "Treugolnik" reported a missile attack by the Neptune anti-ship missile system in the direction of Novorossiysk.
